MC Morris, a Canadian-based comedian and MC, has disclosed the reasons behind the ban on comedian Ali Baba and actor Osita Iheme, popularly known as Pawpaw, from entering Canada.
According to MC Morris, Ali Baba’s visa had expired last month, and despite attempts to renew it, they were unsuccessful.
However, he did not provide specific details regarding why Pawpaw was denied entry.
MC Morris expressed disappointment at the situation and assured fans that they would organize a makeup show at a discounted rate to compensate for the cancellation.
He stated that while Ali Baba and Pawpaw would have to return, Akin and Yomi Fabiyi would still be able to stay.
Ali Baba also commented on the situation, confirming that they were denied voluntary entry and were instructed to obtain the necessary visas.
He expressed his intention to come and entertain his fans but acknowledged the circumstances preventing him from doing so.
“We have been denied voluntary entry. We were told to go get our Visa ready
We wanted to come in and entertain you. Pawpaw and I would go back, but Akin and Yomi Fabiyi would stay”, Ali Baba said.
